Essential Job Functions
  • Ensure execution of daily operations within the department.
  • Review & audit drivers logs and inspections.
  • Work closely with Safety & Compliance.
  • Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees.
  • Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards.
  • Enforce policy and procedure compliance.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company.
  • Respond to & solve problems.
  • Train employees on job specific duties.
  • Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements.
  • Effectively communicate with drivers, clients, vendors and employees.
  • Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Problem solving- identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Client Service- manages difficult client situations, responds promptly to client needs and welcome client feedback.
  • Quality management-look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Physical Requirements
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED Required.
  • Four years industry experience required.
  • Two years supervisory required.
