We are seeking an experienced HVAC Assistant Service Manager to support our service leadership team and help manage day-to-day operations for our residential HVAC service technicians. This position reports directly to the HVAC Service Manager and plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service, strong technician performance, and excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities
As an HVAC Assistant Service Manager, you will assist with managing the service team and supporting the daily operations of the HVAC service department.
  • Assist with supervising and developing the HVAC service team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Help coordinate technician schedules, daily assignments, and service priorities
  • Support the Service Manager in maintaining efficient operations and high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor technician performance, workmanship, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure materials, parts, and equipment are ordered and available for scheduled jobs
  • Review departmental reports including inventory, tools, vehicles, and service metrics
  • Conduct job site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Review payroll records to ensure technicians are properly compensated
  • Ensure technicians have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete service calls
  • Support dispatch operations to ensure appropriate technician assignment and scheduling

Qualifications
