WHAT WE OFFER

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily, coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments.
  • Complete various dispatch duties, including performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits.
  • Lead by example in performance, attitude, attendance, and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation
  • Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training.
  • Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
  • Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
  • Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs
  • Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours.
  • Establish and maintain safety systems, policies, and procedures; ensure all documentation concerning safety is up to date.
  • Coordinate and manage safety committee meetings with all franchise employees.
  • Conduct safety spot checks weekly
  • Understand all state and federal driving and interstate moving requirements.
  • Ensure franchise compliance with all DOT regulations and OSHA guidelines; maintain OSHA logs.
  • Claims management and resolution.
  • All other duties as assigned.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Management, business, or other relevant experience is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens.
  • Must be willing to work Saturday’s.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people.
  • Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Strong decision-making ability.
  • Basic truck/vehicle knowledge
  • Experience in the fields of general labor, management, non-CDL transportation, landscaping, construction, project management, logistics, production, manufacturing, assembly, factory or warehouse helpful
