Job description

Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group, in partnership with ABM Aviation, is seeking a highly organized and dependable Dispatch Operations Specialist to support airport shuttle and transportation services at Nashville International Airport (BNA). This full-time, on-site position operates on 12-hour shifts and plays an essential role in coordinating real-time communication, monitoring vehicle activity, and ensuring safe and efficient transportation operations.

The Dispatch Operations Specialist is responsible for operating two-way radios to communicate with shuttle drivers regarding assignments, safety notifications, and route adjustments. The position includes conducting vehicle inspections alongside drivers using handheld digital devices and transporting drivers to and from secure airside locations when operationally required. The Specialist will also monitor vehicle and driver activity through GPS tracking systems, respond promptly to phone inquiries, and assist with coordinating daily dispatch scheduling needs.

This role requires the use of Microsoft Office applications to draft and distribute pass-down reports, maintain dispatch logs, and manage email communications. The Dispatch Operations Specialist will also receive training on operating and supporting electric vehicle charging stations and fuel pump systems. Adherence to all airport, TSA, ABM, and company safety standards is mandatory.

Applicants must hold a valid driverโ€™s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and be able to pass all TSA and Department of Homeland Security background checks required to obtain and maintain an airport security badge. Prior experience in transportation, dispatching, or customer service is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Reliability, professionalism, and the willingness to work 12-hour shifts are essential.

This position is fully on-site at Nashville International Airport, and all required training for specialized systems and airport procedures will be provided. Uniforms and necessary equipment will be issued in accordance with airport and company standards.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the ability to obtain an airport badge, and the ability to pass all required background and drug screenings.
