Job description

OBJECTIVE:
Monitors radio transmissions and dispatches and tracks the whereabouts of all personnel needed to ensure efficient Casino operations.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an office setting. Long periods of sitting, temperature controlled.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Always be NICE to fellow staff and players/ find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
  2. Maintains database of malfunctioning slot machines.
  3. Dispatches and tracks the whereabouts of slot technicians, security floor, and maintenance personnel.
  4. Maintains batteries and radios for other department personnel.
  5. Logs and tracks the radio records.
  6. Monitors the Casinos Slot Data System.
  7. Issues machine paper to floor personnel.
  8. Maintains the serial number information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have knowledge of dispatching functions, 10 codes, and casinos layout and functions
Good broadcasting and speaking skills
Written communication, computer and public relations skills
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and follow oral or written instructions
Ability to handle several communications at one time
Ability to sit for long periods of time
