Position Summary
The Dispatch Support Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring successful daily furniture delivery operations. This position supports dispatch by monitoring delivery teams in the field, ensuring compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining on-time performance, and serving as a primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery updates, questions, and issue resolution.
In addition to dispatch responsibilities, this role provides warehouse support including receiving, inspecting, unboxing, staging, and preparing furniture for delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation, warehouse operations, or customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch/logistics software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
  • Experience in furniture delivery, final-mile logistics, or home delivery operations.
  • Experience handling customer escalations and service recovery.
  • Knowledge of routing and dispatch systems.
  • Bilingual.
