Driver


We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Picking -Up and Delivering cans on route. Also delivering port a potty to customers in a timely and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring that all units are clean, stocked and delivered safely and accurately.


Driver Responsibilities

  • Be able to pull a 10/14 can Trailer behind a Delivery Truck and deliver cans to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Load and unload units from truck when required too.
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all units are clean and delivered safely and accurately.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details.
  • Resolve any customer issues or complaints that may arise during delivery with dispatch or customer.
  • Maintain accurate records of route as well as deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift units up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate using GPS or maps
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent

The ideal candidate for this position will have one to two years' experience as a pumper driver along with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They should also be able to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize their workload to ensure that route and deliveries are completed on time.
