Road/Dispatcher Supervisor (West Yard)
Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Road/Dispatcher Supervisor. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
Position Location: 405 North 79th Avenue, Phoenix AZ 85043

  • $23.75 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)
  • Starting pay $23.75 with progression to $36.79 over 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assign and communicate job requirements and responsibilities to Operators and Road Supervisors
• Day-to-day scheduling, counseling and evaluation reports
• Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports and safety violation documents.
• Host driver training and safety courses
• Assist Safety Manager with DOT compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping.
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid CDL Class B required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills & interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
