General Description

Palmas Restaurant Group has proudly partnered with Walt Disney World since 1982, delivering exceptional cuisine, world-class service, and memorable dining experiences. Springs Food Service LLC, part of the Palmas family, operates all food and beverage venues at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, including quick-service, table-service, and bar locations. These venues serve a high volume of guests year-round.

Food Handlers are responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating food and non-food items, maintaining clean and organized storage areas, and may assist with inventory.Success in this role requires working safely and efficiently in various conditions, strong teamwork, and positive collaboration with coworkers and vendors.

Work Duties

  • Follow all safety and food sanitation processes at all times
  • Receive all food/product deliveries and ensure accuracy
  • Note and report any discrepancies between purchase orders and delivery invoices
  • Store all food/product deliveries in the proper location and within food-handling time limits
  • Date and/or rotate food/product as necessary to ensure older product is used first (“FIFO”)
  • Clean and organize all storage areas as necessary to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
  • Note and report any expired product
  • Place food/product orders as necessary following current processes
  • Perform food/product inventories as necessary following current processes
  • Train new Food Handlers as necessary in proper processes and procedures
  • All other tasks as assigned
