Experienced Tax Resolution Professional
If you have experience in Tax Resolution as an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney who loves helping people rebuild their lives, this is the job for you. If you are outcome-driven, helping defend tax audits, solve IRS Collection Problems using installment agreements, Offer in Compromise, other tools in the toolbox, and prepared to litigate to get the right result, this job is for you. If you will advocate for the Innocent Spouse and work to solve other tax train wrecks, we may be your best next job. We get up each day to serve clients to do something for them, not to them. If you are only in it for the money, we aren't for you.
At the same time, you have to meet performance and casework standards, because our office and staff will depend on you to help everyone make a living. You will be working with people's financial information, IRS forms, documents, and deadlines. You will have to manage a caseload and competing deadlines. If working with numbers, spreadsheets, and IRS forms is not your thing, then this is not the job for you. Positive energy in everything you do is a must. This is a tax resolution position: Ability to handle interactions with IRS employees, including the Automated Collection System, Revenue Officers, and Revenue Agents. Audit defense is part of the day-to-day responsibilities. Prior knowledge and experience working with IRS laws, regulations, forms, including rules regarding substantiation of expenses and deductions, and a good understanding of accounting, and experience tying things out. Computer proficient with Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.

• Knowledge of accounting, IRS statutes and regulations, and IRS Collections and alternatives.
