*Main Responsabilities: Collect food trays left in the outdoor guest seating area and properly clean them using dishwashing equipment.

General Description

A Steward is primarily responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant tableware and cooking equipment. This person must be able to operate dishwashing equipment following all Company and food safety guidelines. A Steward must also be able to work quickly and efficiently to ensure ample tableware and cookware is always available. A thorough understanding of sanitation and food safety guidelines is necessary to be successful.

Work Duties

  • Set up and break down dishwashing station
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing area
  • Safely and properly operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
  • Document food safety and sanitation procedures through daily logs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
  • Remove garbage and recyclables from kitchen as necessary
  • Clean and sanitize garbage and recyclable containers
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and restaurant floors and other surfaces
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing duties
  • Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork
  • Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
  • All other tasks as assigned
