The Facilities and Operations team is responsible for the management of all logistical facilities support for Walt Disney Imagineering locations, including space planning, design and moves, facility construction, phones, and operational services to support facilities planning and construction projects across multiple sites.

You will report to the Senior Manager-Facilities & Operations.

This is a Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do:

  • Have budget oversight for facilities operating expenses and capital projects for Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Consumer Products
  • Coordinate financial processes including purchase orders, task orders, supply requests, and vendor billing
  • Serve as a representative of the Facilities & Operations Division on project teams and coordinate with stakeholders across WDI and partner organizations
  • Direct activities of in-house staff and support preparation of construction contract documents
  • Assist with space planning, mock-up analysis, coordination, and allocation within WDI facilities
  • Oversee phone and cellular service operations, including equipment ordering, billing validation, and database management
  • Support operational logistics including office moves, warehouse coordination, and asset management
  • Ensure adherence to safety, security, and operational protocols across facilities

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Must hold or be able to attain a valid state driver's license
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, billing, or financial coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Understanding of construction principles and project delivery processes
  • Experience working in themed entertainment, facilities operations, or construction environments
  • Experience supporting contract documentation and construction administration
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships between owner/operator and project teams
  • Ability to lead project teams including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate degree in a relevant discipline preferred

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $65,300 - $87,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
