The Disney Multiplatform Partnerships team is looking for a well-organized, flexible, and enthusiastic Multiplatform Partnerships Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director, this person will contribute to the development and execution of partnership campaigns that drive growth, revenue and reinforce the value of Disney's television Networks (ABC, Disney, ESPN, Freeform, FX, and the National Geographic Channels) as well as studio film and TV properties from Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century Pictures, and Searchlight Pictures.

Job Summary:

This role is an integral contributor within the Multiplatform Partnerships account team in the innovation, development and execution of scalable partner campaigns that support both Pay TV/Linear Networks and In-Home Theatrical/Transactional lines of business to achieve acquisition, retention and revenue goals. In partnership with internal stakeholders including but not limited to; Platform Distribution Sales, Marketing, Brand Networks, Product, Legal and PR teams, and our external distribution partners, this role will advocate for programming priorities, ideate go to market plans, execute full funnel campaigns, and negotiate editorial placements aimed to drive subscriber acquisition, anti-churn and transactional revenue for theatrical and linear TV content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with expertise in multi-channel marketing and the application of data insights and metrics to identify key opportunities that will optimize performance and enhance efficiency of marketing budget and media spends. Additionally, this role proactively creates marketing presentations to showcase strategic approach for multiple audiences, merchandises ongoing activity and socializes performance results while offering ongoing guidance and support in the development of the team Marketing Associate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with team leads, responsible for the strategic account planning and negotiation of marketing campaigns/promotions that support overall business goals (acquisition, retention, anti-churn, engagement, film and TV launches, etc). Establish and maintain direct relationships with account and brand network contacts to serve as primary lead on all related day-to-day marketing activities.

  • Collaborate with brand networks and studio marketing cross functional teams to identify priorities, negotiate and execute all partnership marketing strategies including full funnel marketing tactics (ex. paid media, influencer campaign, SEO, editorial marketing, organic and padi social media, CRM, SEO, etc.).

  • Cultivate knowledge and expertise around Disney's brands, networks, franchises, and studio's theatrical releases to provide partners prioritization across the in-home release strategies, TV programing and digital catalog offerings. Proactively pitch opportunities with our partners leveraging Disney's storytelling ethos across our linear and studio content.

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of account management tools and presentations, such as annual account plan, ongoing activation plans, campaign presentations (pre& post), overall performance recaps and budgets (forecasting, invoicing and accruals).

  • Lead and host formal/informal client meetings ranging from status calls to facilitating relevant planning presentations, ongoing recap and QBR reviews.

  • Utilize consumer research and data insights to maximize marketing campaigns, establish KPIs, evaluate ROI and analyze results to merchandise goals and convey results.

  • Provide direction and guidance to team associate as they coordinate creative execution including messaging to internal and external partners regarding timelines, budgets, deliverables process (specs/review/approval) and activation recaps.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a Marketing, preferably in new media/streaming content environment in two or more of the following areas: Partner Management, Partnerships or Growth Marketing, Brand Management

  • Genuine passion for the film & TV industry with knowledge of evolving media consumption habits, digital trends, analytics and performance tracking.

  • Strategic thinker with growth mindset and confident ability to generate, champion and present ideas

  • Planning and execution skills with experience in handling, planning and overseeing full execution of marketing plans.

  • Problem solving skills: able to identify and resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively

  • Communication skills: Positive written and verbal communication skills, detailed oriented, persuasive, passionate and effective in getting point across written and spoken forms.

  • Results-oriented with sensibility of defining KPIs, measurable metrics or ROI performance

  • 10-15% Travel possible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint), Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides)

  • Proficient with AirTable, Adobe Acrobat, Keynote, Social Media, Canva, various AI tools

Required Education:

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Film or Media and/or

  • Relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in addition to minimum above

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $79,400 to $106,400 per year and in New York, NY is $83,200 to $111,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
