Join our Team. Great benefits and exclusive Disney perks. Location: Outdoor Quick Service General Description The Host/Hostess is responsible for many essential restaurant functions, which can vary from shift to shift.

Examples of responsibilities include greeting and guiding guests throughout the restaurant, ringing in guest orders and processing payments, ensuring that each guest receives their proper drink and food order, and maintaining the cleanliness of guest areas of the restaurant (including keeping essential guest items stocked). Work Duties Perform all required opening and closing duties for the restaurant Offer all guests a warm welcome upon arrival and fond farewell upon departure Engage guests in conversation whenever possible Answer any guest questions as necessary Keep guest beverages stocked by brewing coffee and changing out soda as necessary Keep all guest supplies well stocked and organized (silverware, napkins, trays, condiments etc.) Keep guest condiment and beverage area neat, clean and wiped down Keep restaurant service areas well stocked, neat and organized Clear unused items from guest tables as necessary Clean guest tables and surrounding floor area as guests depart Remove full bus tubs to the dishwashing area and replace as necessary Remove full garbage bags to the dumpster and replace as necessary Keep garbage cans and surrounding floors neat and clean Keep all floors of the dining room neat, clean and free of spills or debris Accurately use the point-of-sale and credit card processing systems Know and be able to explain menu items, the Disney Dining Plan, and the MagicBand Ring in each guest order correctly Verify each form of guest payment properly Process payment through the point-of-sale and/or credit card processing system properly Follow all company cash-handling procedures Keep cashier areas neat, clean and organized Display proper food safety procedures at all times Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times All other tasks as assigned NOTE: This Job Description is subject to change at any time .
