San Angel Inn LLC. is a company within the Palmas family. This company operates all of the food and beverage venues at Epcot's Mexico Pavilion, including quick-service, table-service and bar locations. All of these operations experience a high volume of guests throughout the year.
A Receiving Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that processes related to the ordering, receiving and storage of products are performed in the proper manner each day. This includes not only ordering and receiving, but also stocking, rotating and inventory of all food and non-food products and supplies. In addition, a Receiving Supervisor must ensure all storage areas remain neat, clean and organized at all times.
In order to be successful, a Receiving Supervisor must be able to lead daily processes, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and work safely and efficiently in a variety of working conditions. Teamwork is essential, and building/maintaining positive relationships with coworkers, other members of the Food and Beverage Team, and our vendors is imperative.

WORK DUTIES
  • Partner with the Purchasing Manager/Director to lead Food-Handling team through daily tasks
  • Follow all safety and food sanitation processes at all times
  • Receive all food/product deliveries and ensure accuracy
  • Note and report any discrepancies between purchase orders and delivery invoices
  • Store all food/product deliveries in the proper location and within food-handling time limits
  • Date and/or rotate food/product as necessary to ensure older product is used first ("FIFO")
  • Clean and organize all storage areas as necessary to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
  • Note and report any expired product
  • Place food/product orders as necessary following current processes
  • Perform food/product inventories as necessary following current processes
  • Train new Food Handlers in proper processes and procedures
  • All other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of two years of food handling experience strongly preferred
  • Previous receiving experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience using fork lifts and/or pallet jacks a plus
  • Previous experience with inventory software systems a plus
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Florida food Safety certificate
  • Clean driving record a plus (Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record in order to operate Company vehicles)

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to perform all necessary job functions
  • Must be able to stand and be mobile for up to 4 consecutive hours
  • Must be able to function in narrow spaces, such as those found in kitchens and dining rooms
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment/food up to 50 pounds
  • Must possess dexterity in lifting and carrying restaurant products and equipment
  • Must be able to push and pull (carts, doors etc.)
  • Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to complete work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including coolers, freezers, kitchen environments and outdoors
  • Must be able to work with foods containing various food allergens
  • Must be able to communicate and interact politely and effectively
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be fluent in the English language
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to arrive for all assigned shifts on-time
  • Must be able to comply company appearance guidelines
