Job Overview
We are hiring Electric Drive Truck (EDT) Technicians at the Morenci Mine Site in Arizona, primarily working on Komatsu electric drive haul trucks. These roles are critical to supporting mine production and uptime.
This is an onsite, rotating-schedule role ideal for technicians with mine site experience, strong electrical or mechanical fundamentals, and flexibility to work day and night shifts (long change schedule).
This job requires relocating to the Safford/Morenci area. A relocation bonus is available.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Prioritize a safe work environment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on electric drive haul trucks
  • Perform component change-outs, inspections, and planned maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with Komatsu field service teams and mine personnel
  • Follow all mine site safety, environmental, and operational requirements
  • Communicate potential issues (materials, tooling, labor, quality, EHS, permitting, etc.) to leadership.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience maintaining mining equipment such as Electric Drive Trucks, shovels, drills, loaders, etc.
  • Ability to read prints and complete repairs to OEM specifications.
  • Able to relocate to the Safford/Morenci area
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, low voltage electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and formula
