We are looking for STRONG UI/UX Designer. This role is Onsite to Reston, VA.

Role: UI/UX Designer

Description:

Candidate will be required to come in RTC 3-4 days a week and occasionally go to MTC office for meeting with business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • User Research & Analysis: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows.
  • Visual Design: Develop high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance usability across web and mobile platforms.
  • Interaction Design: Define how users interact with the product, ensuring smooth transitions, animations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into user-friendly designs.
  • Design Systems: Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries for consistency and scalability.
  • Accessibility & Responsiveness: Ensure designs are inclusive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
  • Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Ability to interpret data and feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile or cross-functional product teams.
  • Prior Fannie Mae experience is a plus.
