Professionals in this field work in government, tech companies, think tanks, or journalism to identify disinformation campaigns, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate their effects. Their responsibilities may include fact-checking, researching misinformation networks, and collaborating with policymakers or social media platforms to combat the spread of deceptive content.
