Job description

Job Summary:
The eDiscovery Project Manager is responsible for managing eDiscovery projects from inception through fruition, including execution and delegation of various tasks. The role requires the ability to be hands-on, as well as the ability to function well in a matrixed team environment. The individual will be responsible for simultaneous management of multiple concurrent matters of varying sizes, potentially for various clients; coordinating with internal and external stakeholders at law firms, corporate legal departments and other eDiscovery vendors to ensure high-quality and timely outcomes for Repario's law firm and corporate clients. This experienced client-facing leader leverages process and technology expertise to design and deploy the most appropriate solution for a given project, while providing excellent customer service and reporting.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end oversight of eDiscovery projects of all sizes and complexities, ensuring excellence of quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Advise clients on eDiscovery strategies from identification and collection through production, including culling and filtering, processing, and document review.
  • Primary client point-of-contact for project-related queries, custom solutions and workflow escalations; general subject matter expert capable of deploying point SMEs as required.
  • Lead high level project/matter communication meetings and status updates; offer suggestions, solutions and recommendations.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and communicating project timelines and budgets.
  • Responsible for project-level reporting on metrics and deliverables.
  • Coordinates across internal delivery verticals to ensure appropriate services are deployed against project needs.
  • Support the invoice process, including review and correction of client invoices.

Requirements
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience; MA in a relevant field a strong plus
  • 5+ years of eDiscovery Project Management experience with a services vendor or major law firm
  • Expert-level knowledge of standard eDiscovery platforms including Relativity, Brainspace, etc.; Relativity Certified Administration (RCA) certification required; additional relevant certifications a strong plus
  • Experience with analytics capabilities of various eDiscovery tools, and knowledge of associated best practice workflows
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines effectively
  • A proactive problem-solver with the experience to identify and remediate issues early
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; capable of providing effective client-facing status updates and managing clients through difficult decisions
  • Relationship builder, with a long-term approach to managing client-relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to manage sideways in a matrixed environment
  • Self-starter with superior work ethic and professionalism

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
