  • Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels
  • Together with other product teams, evolve our suite of ad formats for businesses across game studios, developers, and advertisers
  • Build out a roadmap of experiments and growth levers for our ad formats at Discord
  • Empathize and relate to our users, especially those who are the most active on Discord

What you should have

  • Strong product sense for the ad formats space with deep understanding of how users engage with advertising
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, excited about finding simple solutions to complex problems, and then executing on them

  • An understanding of AI offerings within the tech world and how to use them effectively
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
  • Track record of driving impact via rapid experimentation towards a metric goal for an advertising tech product
  • Strong analytical ability to quickly organize and leverage data (including writing SQL) to make informed product decisions with cross-functional stakeholders

Bonus points

  • Experience working with ad formats and advertising platforms from other companies
  • Experience working with rewarded ads formats and the gaming advertising vertical
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical experience

Benefits And Perks

About Us

Discord is a voice, video and text app that helps friends and communities come together to hang out and explore their interests - from artists and activists, to study groups, sneakerheads, plant parents, and more. With 150 million monthly users across 19 million active communities, called servers, Discord has grown to become one of the most popular communications services in the world. Discord was built without selling ads or user data and instead, offers a premium subscription called Nitro that gives users special perks like higher quality streams and fun customizations.

In a world of polarization, social curation, and loneliness, Discord is working toward an inclusive world where no one feels like an outsider. We believe in the value of genuine human connection, which can so easily be lost online. So we're building a space where everyone can find belonging from the inside out.

If this strikes a chord with you, come build belonging with us!
