Job description

The Story's Discipleship Coordinator is fully committed to Jesus and intensely motivated to inspire non-religious people to follow Jesus. This individual is a goal-oriented self-starter who understands that the goals of Christian leadership are 1) to serve and not to be served, 2) to empower others to do the work of God's kingdom, and 3) to become a leader who raises up leaders who raise up leaders. This person will report to the Pastor of Discipleship.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics including food, meeting rooms, and technology needs for both large and small groups
  • Manage FellowshipOne Database to ensure class/group rosters, attendance, and personal information is up to date
  • Connect with Story guests and help them plug into appropriate groups or classes
  • Assist Discipleship Pastor with the launch of new Discipleship Groups
  • Assist and be trained to teach Core Classes on a wide range of Biblical/Theological topics
  • Assist Story Pastors with the writing and editing of discipleship materials
  • Plan and execute of Story retreats, trainings, and leader celebrations
  • Organize discipleship class and group registration events in January and August

Education: Completed Bachelor's degree

Experience: Experience managing teams, teaching large groups, and recruiting volunteers is preferred but not required

Compensation: Full time position, salary based on experience
