As the business continues to expand, the organization is seeking a proven sales professional to help accelerate growth by developing new client relationships and strengthening its presence throughout the North Texas market.

About the Position

Our client is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across the Dallas market. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced producer who has established relationships within the insurance and commercial property sectors and enjoys building long-term partnerships that generate recurring business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and serving as a trusted resource before, during, and after emergency restoration events. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable responding when customers need immediate assistance.

The ideal candidate has a history of generating $1 million or more in annual revenue through an established network of industry contacts and strategic business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial and residential restoration opportunities
  • Build and strengthen relationships with insurance adjusters, insurance agents, brokers, property managers, facility managers, municipalities, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and commercial property owners
  • Conduct prospecting activities, networking events, lunch-and-learns, industry meetings, and customer appreciation events
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities while accurately documenting sales activity within the company's CRM
  • Develop long-term partnerships that generate repeat business and referrals

Emergency Response

  • Respond quickly to fire, water, storm, and catastrophic loss events to establish early contact with key decision-makers
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure rapid mobilization and exceptional customer service
  • Develop Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) for commercial clients to improve disaster preparedness
  • Maintain availability for after-hours, weekend, and catastrophic event response as business needs require
  • Build relationships with emergency responders, insurance professionals, and community organizations to strengthen market presence

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned key accounts
  • Conduct routine client visits to maintain strong partnerships and identify additional opportunities
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the restoration process
  • Resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Continuously identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase long-term revenue

Requirements

  • Proven success in business development, outside sales, or account management within the disaster restoration, restoration services, commercial services, facilities, or construction industries
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business through relationship-based selling
  • Existing relationships with insurance adjusters, insurance agencies, brokers, commercial property managers, facility managers, municipalities, healthcare systems, schools, or commercial property owners are highly preferred
  • Track record of producing significant annual revenue through strategic business development efforts
  • Strong networking, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emergency response environment
  • Willingness to respond after hours, evenings, weekends, and during catastrophic weather events as needed
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales activity and client relationships
  • IICRC certification is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market
