Requirement: Authority Coordinator - Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster, and Civic Aid
Job Description: The candidate will support DSCA in ensuring that the DoD SC Initial Assessment, DoD SC Performance Monitoring Plan, DoD SC Performance Monitoring Reports, and QMR templates and completed products, as well as the location of analyses, processes for planning them, and information systems for recording and sharing them, remain aligned with the needs of each of the covered SC authorities.
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
  • Ensuring that the PDA, MEP, CMP, and QMR templates and completed products, as well as the location of analyses, processes for planning them, and information systems for recording and sharing them, remain aligned with the needs of each of the sections of Title 10, Chapter 16 *332, 333, 1263, 341, 342, 345, 401, 2561, FMF, IMET, NADR, and PKO).
  • Develop Monitoring and Evaluation Plans (MEPs) and data collection tools.
  • Establish baseline levels for data collection to publish Country Program Monitoring Reports (CPMs)
  • Conduct pre-design assessments (PDAs) after completing data collection (e.g., interviews/calls, questionnaires/email, observation).
  • Quickly research, analyze, and package results in response to short-fused requirements.
  • Prepare written materials in advance, including reports, presentations, talking points, calendars, notes, itineraries, memoranda, query responses, and other required materials to a standard that is consistent with communicating at the Combatant Command level and higher.
  • Apply advanced consulting skills to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge of public policy and operations
