Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing user requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop system requirements and technical solutions
  • Leading system design, development, and engineering activities, including analysis of alternatives (AoA) and feasibility studies
  • Providing technical leadership across system integration, architecture, and implementation in complex environments
  • Designing and implementing hybrid multi-cloud architectures and deliver scalable, resilient enterprise solutions
  • Developing architecture documentation, system designs, and diagrams supporting full lifecycle delivery
  • Guiding system implementation planning, integration, testing, and ongoing operations
  • Automating repeatable processes and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Applying SRE and disaster recovery (DR) principles to ensure high availability and continuity
  • Designing solutions incorporating load balancing, performance engineering, DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM), and IdAM/IKAM (including certificate-based authentication)
  • Resolving complex hardware/software interface issues and serving as an SME on emerging technologies
  • Conducting system trade studies and performance optimization across the lifecycle
  • Leading design efforts, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing high-risk or complex programs
  • Communicating with government stakeholders and delivering executive-level briefings
  • Ensuring technical integrity and quality of all engineering deliverables

Requirements:

  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in a technical field; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum eight (8) years of directly related experience
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures, automation, and enterprise system engineering
  • Background in SRE, disaster recovery, and high-availability system design
  • Knowledge of load balancing, performance optimization, and scalable systems
  • Experience with DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and Identity and Access Management (IdAM/IKAM)
  • Strong experience developing architecture diagrams and end-to-end solutions
  • Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent) certification
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
  • Ability to commute daily to client site in Colorado Springs, CO or Alexandria, VA
