The mission of Global Logistics Support Services, Incorporated (GLSS) is to provide Maintenance, Supply, Logistics, and Technical Support Services that meet or exceed customer requirements. GLSS is seeking a Program Operations and Control Specialist. This is an entry-level position located at our home office in Huntsville, AL.
Job Description:
Applies basic principles, theories and concepts. Follows specific details and instructions to solve problems of limited scope and complexity. Provides project operations, planning and control support for multiple contracts.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the contract awards and modifications to develop, update and maintain work plans.
  • Create and maintain program/project schedules.
  • Evaluate timecards in CostPoint Time and Expense to ensure employees are properly charging and implement into work plans.
  • Ensure accuracy of and process expense transitions in CostPoint Time and Expense.
  • Track contract obligations and deliverables.
  • Initiate, review and process purchase requisitions and receiving reports.
  • Create and maintain Individual Work Authorizations Assign labor codes.
  • Create and maintain Individual Work Authorizations.
  • Review and validation of project invoices.
  • Budget Monitoring and Assessments.
  • Analyze cost and assess performance on multiple project elements.
  • Develop monthly performance and cost reports to meet customer deadlines.
  • Provide meeting support - prepares agendas, takes meeting minutes, and action items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, Proficient in the use of MS Office Software.
  • Self-motivated, proactive with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong MS Excel Skills - VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting.
  • Must be US Citizen.
