Miles & Stockbridge is seeking an Office Services Assistant to help with our busy Facilities Team. As an Office Services Assistant, you will be part of a core team that keeps our offices running smoothly. Responsibilities: 

  • Provide back-up coverage to reception during absences and daily lunches.
  • Set up and breakdown of conference rooms for meetings and other company events.
  • Assist with video/audio conferences in the absence of our IT staff.
  • Coordinate ordering of office supplies with Receptionist.
  • Report maintenance requests to Office Administrator or Receptionist.
  • Prepare vacated offices for occupancy for incoming attorneys and staff.
  • Assist with scanning and importing documents into document management system (NetDocuments).
  • Distribute paper in copy rooms, fill paper and copiers and printers, change toners in desktop printers.
  • Distribute interoffice mail and assist with mailings (FedEx) and courier requests.
  • Deliver and pick up mail and packages, court runs.

Office Services Assistant Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 1-3 years of experience within a commercial office or law firm.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate across multiple departments and levels of the firm.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $44,000 – $52,000. The pay range provided is in compliance with state, city, or local employment laws and applies to this location only. Actual pay for this position will be determined based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, current market data, and business needs.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to push, pull, lift, and move up to 25 pounds. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
