Job description

Overview
REPORTS TO: Corps Officer and Emergency Assistance Program Manager/Director
SUPERVISES: N/A
STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Part Time
FUNCTION: This position is responsible for Emergency Assistance Services at the Cincinnati Service Locations as needed, or other locations as needed. Services performed by this position include assessing the basic needs of low income individuals and families, providing assistance in the form of food, financial assistance, vouchers for in-kind items such as clothing and furniture, food delivery, and linking participants to services that will help stabilize their crisis. This position will conduct registration for camp, and all seasonal programs. This position will work in harmony with the Corps Officer to carry out The Salvation Army's mission and ministry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or equivalent work history experience.
  • Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army's mission and ministry.
