Position for Monday:  3:45p-10pm; Thursday 3:45p-10pm; Saturday-6am-10pm 28.5 hrs. weekly
WE ARE ALSO OFFERING FULL-TIME FOR THIS ROLE. 

Provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or physical impairments. DSPs role is to empower individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity while fostering inclusion within their communities.
Assist with personal care (hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support daily living activities like meal planning, preparation, feeding, and household chores
• Encourage independence by supervising self-administration of medication
• Monitor health changes and report concerns promptly
• Provide mobility and safety assistance with transfers, ambulation, and adaptive devices
• Accompany individuals to appointments, errands, and community events
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and health updates
• Follow behavioral support plans and promote positive outcomes
• Advocate for self-expression, choice-making, and independence
• Encourage community inclusion through social, recreational, and vocational activities
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure seamless care
