Position Summary
The House Manager oversees two small assisted living residences in Bloomington and Burnsville (up to 5 residents each). This is a meaningful leadership role, you will manage a small team, ensure residents receive exceptional daily care, and build genuine community within each home.
Work hours are determined by the needs of residents. Flexibility, on-call availability, and responsiveness outside standard hours are required.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Management
  • Interview, hire, train, and supervise all direct care staff
  • Manage scheduling to ensure all shifts are covered by qualified, trained staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary action in coordination with RN Administrator
  • Lead monthly staff meetings and manage feedback and recommendations

Resident Care
  • Coordinate and monitor delivery of all resident services on a daily basis
  • Assist with medications, treatments, and personal care as delegated by the RN Administrator
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to LPN/RN
  • Conduct monthly resident meetings and assure a quality activities program
  • Schedule onsite and offsite appointments and transportation

Home & Compliance
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of both residences
  • Plan and post menus and meal plans; monitor daily nutritional needs
  • Ensure compliance with emergency procedures and facility policies
  • Investigate and report incidents of suspected client maltreatment per required protocols
  • Maintain thorough documentation; ensure staff adhere to documentation policies
  • Attend a minimum of 8 hours of in-service training per 12-month period
