Valkyrie Clinical Trials (VCT), a Flourish Research Company, is a leading Oncology multi-site clinical research network with expertise in Oncology research. VCT approaches clinical research with a deep sense of humanity, compassion, and sincere kindness. VCT was founded by leading Clinical Oncologist, Dr. David Berz, and has multiple sites spanning California in Century City, Panorama City, and Murrieta, and has recently expanded to Denver, Colorado.  

We are actively hiring a Data Entry Clerk to supportour Valkyrie Clinical Trials Denver, Colorado site.

The Data Entry Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of clinical research data for Valkyrie's oncology research sites. This individual is responsible for entering, updating, and reconciling clinical and patient information within sponsor Electronic Data Capture platforms and clinical data systems - ensuring that data aligns with source documentation, discrepancies are promptly identified, and records remain complete, secure, and compliant with GCP, HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

LOCATION: Onsite, Denver, Colorado
FLSA: Non-Exempt  
HOURS: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, 40 hours per week  
COMPENSATION: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour (depending on experience) 

Responsibilities
  • Enter clinical trial data into case report forms (CRFs) or clinical data management systems (CDMS), ensuring alignment with source documents.
  • Perform data entry in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, where applicable.
  • Support data query resolution by identifying discrepancies between source documents and entered data.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist clinical staff, physicians, or research coordinators with data retrieval and correction requests.
  • Support audits by ensuring records are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Maintain data integrity across clinical databases and registries.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • Degree in Health Information Management, Medical Assisting, or a related field is a plus
  • Minimum of one to three years of data entry experience
  • Experience working with clinical, medical, or healthcare data preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation standards
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems or clinical trial data platforms
  • Strong typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet-based applications
  • Clear understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient data confidentiality requirements
  • Ability to understand and accurately interpret medical terminology and basic clinical research concepts
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
