Airgas, an Air Liquide Company, is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager. As a global leader in Dry Ice production, we are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Plant Manager to join our day shift. In this key role, you will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to provide exceptional service to our customers by maintaining our high standards of production and operational excellence.
• Maintenance of the facility to include the understanding of and ability to explain basic mechanical theory to direct reports.
• Ensuring all staff members adhere to OSHA general standard as it relates to a manufacturing facility, Safety SOP's, P/L management and Labor Cost Management.
• Collaborate with regional sales, management, and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction. Interview, hire, train, and discipline employees according to corporate guidelines and policies.
• Managing shift scheduling, performance evaluations, safety training documentation, disciplinary actions, associate development, and specific job related training.
• Coordinating vendors, projecting and establishing preventative maintenance programs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equal experience with formal technical
    training considered in conjunction with extensive, relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Production Management
  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Knowledge of use of computerized management systems
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
