Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional
LOCATION: ALSIP, IL
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human services field (psychology, special ed., etc.)
2. One-year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
REQUIREMENTS
Good working knowledge of behavior modification principles and techniques as they relate to the individual with developmental disabilities
Current, valid Illinois driver’s license with a clear driving record
Clear criminal background and HCWBC Registry reports, or approved waiver from DHS.QIDP certification or completion of QIDP training within 120 days of employment.
Position: Full-Time 40 Hours per week
Salary:
Based on experience (Range) $27.23 – $28.23 per hour.
Schedule
Flexible schedule based on program need. PL requires residential staff to work two evening shifts per week, one weekend shifts per month, and some holidays.

BASIC FUNCTION
Ensure Case Coordination for Participant
Development of annual goals and objectives.
Methodologies / Objectives are measurable
Completion dates / Revisions / Changes when necessary
Maintain participant case files
In conjunction with the Program Manager ensure that all participants are obtaining active treatment and that their Habilitation Plan is implemented.
Train DSP staff on implementation of each participant’s annual plan and provide tools to preform active treatment.
Assist with medical appointments as needed
Work with various departments to ensure continuity of programming efforts.
