Job description

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Floor Tech for a part time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform floor cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial settings
  • Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains
  • Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
  • Assist with other custodial duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods
  • Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment effectively and safely
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for proper floor maintenance
  • Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required for the job
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members
