Position Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a passionate and creative Recreation Director to lead our activities department at our skilled nursing facility. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through engaging and enriching recreational programs.
Recreation Director Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and oversee recreational programs that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being
Manage and supervise the activities team
Coordinate events, outings, and special programs tailored to resident interests and abilities
Maintain accurate documentation and resident participation records
Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support quality of life initiatives
Recreation Director Requirements:
Prior experience as a Recreation Director or Activities Director in a long-term care setting
