What You'll Do
As our Fixed Operations Director, you'll lead every aspect of the fixed operations team while creating an environment where employees and customers both enjoy coming to our dealership.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department.
  • Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop technicians, advisors, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds loyalty and referrals.
  • Improve technician productivity, efficiency, and overall department performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including labor sales, gross profit, effective labor rate, technician efficiency, proficiency, warranty performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure repair quality and compliance with Subaru standards.
  • Partner with the Parts and Sales departments to provide a seamless ownership experience.
  • Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Help create a workplace where employees enjoy coming to work every day.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who leads by example and understands that people are the key to every successful service department.
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • A proven history of improving customer satisfaction and department performance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience managing dealership financial performance and KPIs
  • A commitment to employee development and retention
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
