Job Summary:
Company is seeking a Technical Lead Application Development WAM (Work and Asset Management) responsible for technical support of Client's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) applications. This includes supporting and developing current and future state architectures, solutions design, providing guidance and sharing best practices to the technical and functional teams while working closely with business partners. This lead role will drive technical decisions, reviews, and is accountable in delivering technical solutions while ensuring the solutions meet best practice standards, compliance, security, and business requirements. The WAM Technical Lead will be responsible for leading and managing the WAM technical development team throughout the entire application lifecycle including the design, implementation, and maintenance and support of business application. Direct the technical activities, analysis, and design of the WAM and MWM solutions. Develop standards and practices that direct the day-to-day operations of the WAM and MWM development teams. The incumbent will communicate with a wide audience; including staff within IT, data conversion lead, integration lead, system implementers, and program team to ensure deliverables are built in accordance with defined quality standards.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in the delivery of WAM Solutions (EAM, MWM, CRM, and other related technologies) for both Client customers as well as business users
  • Lead and provide technical oversight for SDLC lifecycle, utilizing middleware to integrate with ERP, CRM, billing system (CIS), and other applications
  • Understand internal and external customer pain-points; anticipates customer's needs and proactively recommend design solutions
  • Analyze requirements and aid in designing technical solutions to meet business goals, objectives and functional/non-functional requirements in alignment with architectural standards
  • Work with other team members and leaders, proactively identify and mitigate/resolve risks and issues
  • Review documents and provide best practices to technical processes, functional and technical requirements, and business process flows
  • Identifies tasks and interrelationships to evaluate technical and cross-technical requirements
  • Work closely and be in alignment with IT leaders, other project and legacy architect(s) and business team
  • Provide recommendation for technology optimization/tuning and lead performance enhancement initiates
  • Drive and lead products/new technologies/solutions proof of concept and evaluation
  • Manage key technical decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (WAM) and Mobile Workforce
  • Management (MWM) technology, architecture, and implementation experience primarily in the utility industry
  • 3 years of experience implementing, configuring, and tailoring IBM Maximo (7x) EAM and associated solutions
  • 1 year of experience implementing, configuring, and tailoring IFS Clevest MWM
  • Experience working in an organized, structured manner with excellent team communication and people management skills
  • Experience in providing guidance and best practices in standing up and configuring IBM
  • Maximo EAM cloud systems
  • Experience managing data conversion, integrations, system of records, and master data management work streams
  • Experience implementing Maximo Scheduler, Work Centers, and Workflow
  • Development experience in core Java, .Net, RESTful web services
  • Technical framework experience in Informatica iPaaS and IBM Message Queues
