Job description

Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking a full-time Regional Property Manager to join our team in Appleton. The portfolio consists of 700 units.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading a dedicated team of leasing, maintenance and housekeeping professionals.
  • Ensure resident satisfaction by delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Regular inspection of apartment homes and grounds.
  • Managing the resident move-in/move-out process through timely scheduling of vendors, maintenance and housekeeping services.
  • Maximizing occupancy through resident retention.
  • Investigating and resolving any complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Scheduling vendors for turns.
  • Assisting leasing staff with answering phones, showing apartments, and lease signings.
  • Follow company policies, fair housing laws and regulations, and landlord/tenant laws.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in property management.
  • Have experience managing at least 500 units.
  • Experience managing a team of employees.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (we pay for mileage).
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and energetic with a constant friendly and helpful attitude.
