Job Description
Internal Job Title: Production Operator
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Danville, Virginia (350 Stinson Drive)
Work Model: On-site
Work Hours: Shift: 3 x 12 hours (7am-7 pm;7pm-7 am); 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off; ***NOTE*** - it is highly likely that this position will be a night shift position
Wage: $16.47/hr + night shift premium of $1.50/hr
Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate laser engraving, printing, and mailing equipment
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and correct as directed
  • Examine printed product for flaws or defects
  • Various other duties and responsibilities

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Legally eligible to work in the USA
  • Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer literacy (comfortable using a computer)
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods, walk/bend/reach and lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Able to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or fast-paced retail environment
  • High school diploma or GED
