INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN TVM Installation Project – Pittsburgh, PA Project Start: May 18, 2026

PROJECT OVERVIEW Working with primary contractor Flowbird on a TVM installation project for the Pittsburgh, PA transit system. Project involves the installation of Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at transit stations throughout Pittsburgh, PA.
Pay: $28-$30 an hour with a $250 completion bonus

Project Duration: May 18, 2026 through July 10, 2026 Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Various Pittsburgh, PA transit stations

JOB DUTIES

  • Assist with unloading, moving, and positioning TVM equipment
  • Install new TVM units at platform locations
  • Mount equipment and secure components to station infrastructure
  • Assist with cable routing and low voltage wiring as directed
  • Support lead technicians with general installation tasks
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Some electronics, construction, or trades experience helpful but not required
  • Must be physically capable of handling heavy equipment (TVMs)
  • Ability to work standing, bending, crouching, and lifting for extended periods
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
  • Must commit to entire project duration (May 18 – July 10, 2026)
  • Must be reliable with daily attendance and punctuality
  • Must provide own tools

  • Drill with 2 batteries and charger
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers (or multi-screwdriver)
