As the Maintenance Director at Tuscany Village Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK, you will be responsible for ensuring that the building, equipment, and utilities are maintained in accordance with the facility policies and local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs functions to facilitate a safe, comfortable, attractive, and well-maintained environment.
  • Follows preventative maintenance programs for major equipment (i.e., HVAC, ice machines, plumbing systems, water heaters, other equipment) as needed.
  • Performs repairs and/or replacements to equipment and the physical facility as necessary.
  • Oversees related vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Maintains and monitor related budgets.
  • Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory codes and guidelines, including, but not limited to fire and life safety regulations.
  • Ensures that the outside of the property is maintained, including monitoring of landscaping and snow removal companies, where necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in institutional maintenance.
  • Previous long-term care/healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of long-term care Life Safety Code requirements preferred.
  • Basic technology skills to include computer, website, email, and mobile phone usage to facilitate communication and use of the TELS system.
  • General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety and other relates systems.
  • Basic carpentry and hardware knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
  • Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred
