Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly analytical individual to fill the role of Director, Treasury in our leading client construction firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our company's financial aspects, including cash flow, FP&A, and financial risk management. This role will require a strategic thinker with a solid background in financial planning and analysis, who can drive our company’s financial strategy and planning. The Director, Treasury will work closely with senior management to ensure that our financial operations and strategies align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the company's cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and operational financing.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies, control systems, and processes to support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage relationships with financial service providers, including banks and investment advisors.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and risk assessments to the board of directors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop strategies to maximize ROI and meet the company's financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management on the development and execution of funding strategies.
  • Evaluate and manage capital structure, investment strategies, and banking relationships.
  • Monitor financial markets and economic trends and their effects on the company's investment portfolio.
  • Oversee the company's investment portfolio, ensuring the best returns on investments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of FP&A, cash flow, financial risk management, and investment portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.

  • Proven negotiation skills with experience in managing relationships with financial service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statistics and analysis tools.
