Position Summary

The Treasury Management Officer/Supervisor is responsible for supporting the growth, development, sales, implementation, and ongoing management of the Bank's Treasury Management services for commercial clients. This role serves as a subject matter expert for treasury products and partners closely with Commercial Banking, Branch Management, Operations, Digital Banking, Risk Management, and other internal stakeholders to expand treasury relationships and enhance the Bank's treasury management infrastructure.

This position is ideal for an experienced treasury professional seeking a leadership opportunity and the ability to play a key role in the continued development of a growing Treasury Management department. The successful candidate will help establish processes, strengthen operational efficiencies, enhance product utilization, and contribute to the strategic growth of the Bank's treasury services platform.

Primary Responsibilities

Treasury Management Sales & Relationship Development

  • Partner with Commercial Banking and Branch teams to identify treasury opportunities and deepen client relationships.
  • Conduct treasury needs assessments and recommends appropriate solutions based on client cash management requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver treasury management presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for prospective and existing clients.
  • Support treasury pricing strategies and profitability analyses.
  • Assist with responses to Treasury Management RFPs and other client proposals.
  • Drive treasury fee income growth through increased product penetration and client adoption.

Treasury Management Program Development

  • Assist in the ongoing development and enhancement of the Bank's Treasury Management program.
  • Help establish and maintain scalable treasury processes, procedures, and implementation standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, client experience, and product delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and expand treasury product offerings.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives designed to support the growth of Treasury Management services and infrastructure.
  • Support the development of treasury management reporting, performance metrics, and sales tracking tools.

Client Onboarding & Implementation

  • Serve as a primary point of contact throughout treasury onboarding and implementation.
  • Coordinate the implementation of treasury products including ACH, Wire Transfers, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, Account Analysis, Sweeps, Online Banking, Merchant Services, and other cash management solutions.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient client onboarding experience through coordination with Operations, IT, Digital Banking, and Risk Management teams.
  • Conduct client training on treasury products and services.
  • Monitor implementation progress and resolve service issues promptly.

Leadership & Internal Support

  • Serve as a treasury management resource for commercial lenders, branch personnel, and operations teams.
  • Assist in training and educating internal partners on treasury solutions and sales opportunities.
  • Help develop best practices related to treasury sales, implementation, and service delivery.
  • Support departmental growth initiatives and work closely with management on process improvement projects.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship as Treasury Management staffing and responsibilities expand.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure treasury products and implementations comply with Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and BSA/AML teams regarding fraud prevention and treasury-related risk controls.
  • Promote the use of fraud mitigation products and client protection solutions.
  • Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving operational, compliance, and fraud-related concerns.
  • Support periodic reviews of treasury client documentation and controls.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate treasury client records and CRM activity.
  • Monitor treasury sales pipelines, implementation status, product utilization, and revenue trends.
  • Assist management in preparing treasury performance reports and business development analytics.
  • Support departmental budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of Treasury Management, Cash Management, Commercial Banking, or related financial services experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of treasury products, cash management services, and commercial banking operations.
  • Prior experience supporting treasury sales, implementations, client onboarding, or treasury product management preferred.
  • Previous supervisory, mentoring, project leadership, or leadership-development experience is highly desirable.
