Director – Treasury Technology | Global Treasury Practice

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead and grow our Treasury Technology offering within our rapidly expanding Global Treasury Practice. This is a leadership opportunity for a treasury technology professional who combines deep knowledge of treasury management systems and emerging treasury technologies with strong commercial, client relationship, and team leadership capabilities.

Our Treasury Practice is part of our broader Finance Transformation solution focused on modernizing the Office of the CFO. The Treasury Technology leader will play a critical role in defining our market strategy, expanding our technology capabilities, developing strategic relationships with treasury technology providers, and helping clients select, implement, optimize, and transform their treasury technology environments.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader who wants to build an offering within a global professional services organization. The successful candidate will have significant exposure to senior treasury and finance executives and will be expected to serve as a trusted advisor, thought leader, and growth leader for our Treasury Technology business.

Key Areas of Focus

The Director will lead the development and growth of the Treasury Technology offering across areas including:

  • Treasury Management System (TMS) strategy, selection, implementation, and optimization

  • Treasury technology assessments and digital treasury transformation

  • Cash and liquidity management technology

  • Cash forecasting and liquidity planning solutions

  • Bank connectivity and payments technology

  • Treasury automation and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions

  • Integration of treasury platforms with ERP, banking, and broader finance ecosystems

  • Treasury operating model and technology-enabled process transformation

  • Technology strategy for corporate treasury and financial services organizations

  • Evaluation and positioning of established and emerging treasury technology providers

  • Development and management of strategic technology alliances and partnerships

Key Responsibilities Practice & Offering Leadership
  • Own and drive the strategy, growth, and market positioning of the Treasury Technology offering.

  • Define and continuously evolve the firm's treasury technology capabilities, methodologies, accelerators, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Identify emerging treasury technologies and assess their relevance to clients and the broader market.

  • Build differentiated offerings that combine treasury functional expertise, technology, data, automation, and transformation.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with leading and emerging treasury technology providers and strategically manage the firm's alliance ecosystem.

  • Develop thought leadership, market perspectives, and client-facing materials that position the practice as a leader in treasury technology.

Business Development & Client Leadership
  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow Treasury Technology revenue, pipeline, and market share.

  • Originate and lead sales opportunities, including executive-level relationship development, proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.

  • Develop trusted relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, Assistant Treasurers, Controllers, CIOs, and other senior executives.

  • Advise clients on treasury technology strategy, platform selection, transformation roadmaps, and technology-enabled operating models.

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships across treasury, finance transformation, and broader CFO services.

  • Lead strategic pursuits and serve as an executive sponsor for key engagements and accounts.

Delivery & Quality Oversight
  • Provide executive oversight and strategic direction on major treasury technology engagements.

  • Ensure projects deliver measurable business outcomes and maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

  • Bring appropriate functional, technical, and industry expertise to complex client challenges.

  • Support teams in resolving complex implementation, integration, process, and organizational issues.

  • Ensure lessons learned from engagements are incorporated into methodologies and future offerings.

Team & Capability Development
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Treasury Technology team across the U.S. and global delivery locations.

  • Recruit and retain experienced treasury technology professionals and develop career paths within the offering.

  • Mentor senior managers, managers, and consultants and build the next generation of treasury technology leaders.

  • Leverage global resources and coordinate effectively across geographies and service lines.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Prior consulting experience

  • Significant experience in treasury consulting, treasury technology, corporate treasury, banking, financial services, or finance transformation.

  • Demonstrated experience with Treasury Management Systems and treasury technology platforms, including platforms such as Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury, GTreasury, Trovata, Reval, or similar solutions.

  • Strong understanding of treasury processes, including cash management, liquidity, forecasting, payments, bank connectivity, debt, investments, and treasury risk management.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex treasury technology initiatives and working with senior client stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to develop business, originate opportunities, and grow client relationships.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with C-suite and senior treasury and finance leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Corporate treasury leadership experience within a multinational organization.

  • Experience across multiple Treasury Management Systems and treasury technology ecosystems.

  • Experience evaluating and selecting treasury technology platforms.

  • Experience establishing or managing technology vendor partnerships and alliances.

  • Experience developing and launching new consulting offerings or practices.

  • Demonstrated sales and revenue generation track record within consulting or professional services.

  • Experience with emerging treasury technologies, automation, AI, data analytics, and digital transformation.

  • Experience across both established enterprise TMS platforms and emerging/mid-market treasury technology providers.

  • Treasury technology experience within banking, financial institutions, asset management, insurance, fintech, or other financial services organizations.

  • MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.

  • International experience and ability to operate effectively across global teams.

The successful candidate will be a builder and growth-oriented leader, with the ability to combine deep treasury and technology expertise with commercial leadership. We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between a strategic conversation with a Treasurer or CFO, a technology discussion with a vendor or CIO, and the leadership of a complex client engagement.

The role requires an individual who is entrepreneurial, collaborative, commercially minded, and intellectually curious, with the ability to identify market opportunities, translate emerging technology into practical client solutions, and build the people, partnerships, and capabilities required to scale the offering.

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $134,000 - $269,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
