We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Corporate Director of IT to lead and oversee the technology operations for Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery, and Village Pubs. This role is critical in ensuring that our IT infrastructure supports our business goals, enhances customer experiences, and drives operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT management, cybersecurity, and project leadership within the hospitality and gaming industries.

  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, networks, systems, and databases, to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Create and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to company-wide IT infrastructure.
  • Technology visionary who will assess the company's current tech stack and design and recommend technology solutions to unify and support departments across the company. Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Direct IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure service delivery meets organizational needs.

Skills / Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications like PMP, CCNA, CompTIA, Network +.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Director or Senior Manager of IT within the hospitality, gaming, and/or restaurant industries, with over 1,000 employees across multiple locations.
  • Application-level familiarity and troubleshooting skills with common Network Protocols such as DHCP, DNS, FTP, TCP/IP, UDP, and VPN.
  • Familiarity with SaaS products.
  • Understanding of corporate structures with the ability to adjust IT policies and procedures to match the regulatory environment.
  • Thorough understanding of SaaS environments with the ability to adopt networks and data flows.
  • Experience with Virtualization (HyperV and VMware), and administration skills with Windows Server platform (ADFS and Entra).
  • Ability to select, build, maintain, and test a backup and recovery system for mission-critical data and systems.
  • Familiarity with current POS systems and the ability to work with WebDev team to assist API integrations.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (GCP, AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks with a strong understanding of gaming and hospitality technology.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work with a wide range of electronic testing and diagnostic repair equipment with an understanding of low and high voltage systems.
  • May be required to spend time on the casino floor, and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise levels, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
  • This position is, at times, subjected to hazards such as electrical shocks.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 250 pounds to be able to reach all areas of machines in need of repair and move machines around work areas as necessary.
  • Must be able to work with a complete range of radio frequency, high voltage, electronic diagnostic and repair equipment including test equipment and other diagnostic and repair equipment such as oscilloscopes, monitor pattern generators, EPROM checker-programmer, SYNKROS System, all machine testers, power supply testers, probes, soldering stations, heat guns, tube rejuvenators, emulator processors, and a variety of hand tools.
