Job description
Provide administrative, technical and clerical support to the Director of Education and Community Partnerships; provide support to all other education team members including programs that relate to youth ensembles, education concerts, visual art education programs and other educational events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Maintain reservations and payments for all patrons attending education events (including school groups attending concerts, students participating in youth ensembles, and all students attending summer camps).
Assure that all invoices are fully executed, and that deposits and payments are received in a timely manner.
Coordinate the scheduling of school group and private group tours of The Baker Museum; assist the visual arts education team members in greeting these groups/distributing tickets.
Assist with youth ensemble (Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic Youth Symphonia, Naples Philharmonic Youth Chorus and Naples Philharmonic Youth Jazz Orchestra) rehearsals and performances as an assistant to the Youth Ensembles Coordinator.
Advance production requirements with Lifelong Learning presenters regarding A/V or other needs for their lectures.
Assist with day-of ticket sales at Lifelong Learning events.
Work with all members of the education department and assist with other programs as needed.
Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.
Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to Supervisor or Security.
Works effectively with all Artis—Naples team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Competencies, and Core Values
Education/Experience
College degree required, preference for education, arts management, or liberal arts degrees.
Good customer service skills are required
Experience teaching is preferred.
Availability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
Familiarity with a variety of software, including Microsoft office, Wufoo online forms and Tessitura.
