Assistant Store Manager

We are partnering with a people-first grocery concept focused on fresh quality, clean stores, and strong community connection. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing teams while supporting store-wide success.


As the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Director to drive daily execution, uphold high standards, and create a positive, high-performing store culture.


What Youll Do

  • Support the Store Director in leading day-to-day store operations across all departments
  • Help create a fresh, in-stock, and easy-to-shop environment that exceeds guest expectations
  • Drive execution around merchandising, inventory, and store conditions
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering, and shrink control
  • Lead from the floorcoaching, developing, and supporting team members in real time
  • Help build a culture centered around accountability, teamwork, and hospitality
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure consistent execution and cross-functional support
  • Step in to support front-end operations, including customer service, issue resolution, and register coverage when needed
  • Assist with scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management
  • Support execution of special orders, catering, and seasonal initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
  • Act as Manager-on-Duty, including opening and closing responsibilities
