We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Director of Product Design to lead the evolution of digital shopping experiences. You will lead the development and execution of user experience strategies that drive customer engagement and business outcomes, reimagining the future of shopping through AI-powered, agentic, and immersive experiences. This role focuses on designing intelligent shopping journeys that blend assortment, value, and fulfillment capabilities with proactive assistance and conversational AI. You will oversee interaction and visual design, prototyping, and research to deliver innovative, customer-centered solutions, all while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
What You'll Do:

• Lead the development and execution of user experience strategies that drive customer engagement and business outcomes.

* Reimagine the future of shopping through AI-powered, agentic, and immersive experiences that help customers discover, decide, and purchase more easily.
* Design intelligent shopping journeys that blend assortment, value, and fulfillment capabilities with proactive assistance and conversational AI.
* Oversee interaction and visual design, prototyping, and research to deliver innovative, customer-centered solutions.
* Collaborate closely across business, product, engineering, and data science teams, leveraging data-driven insights.
* Align teams around a shared vision, coalescing complex systems including LLMs, agents, APIs, and human workflows into intuitive experiences.
* Raise the bar for craft, strategy, and design quality to deliver seamless, trusted experiences that improve how millions of people shop.
* Lead and inspire a team of talented product designers, growing their craft, building their confidence, and amplifying their impact.
* Drive end-to-end UX strategies that elevate the customer journey-from item page to checkout and everything in between across web and mobile platforms.
* Influence cross-functional partners by translating complex ideas into clear, actionable design narratives.
* Champion design research and experimentation, leveraging customer insights and business data to guide product direction.
* Foster a culture of craft excellence, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Own and evolve design systems to maintain consistency and elevate the brand across touchpoints.
* Drive innovation by leading rapid concepting and prototyping that push the boundaries of digital retail.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

* 10+ years of experience in product design with a focus on consumer-facing digital experiences.
* 3+ years of experience leading and managing design teams.
* Proven success in launching large-scale digital retail initiatives.
* Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work and leadership impact.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Mastery across visual, interaction, and systems design, with strong craft and a focus on efficient, high-quality execution.

* Ability to communicate and negotiate complex AI-driven flows through clear narratives, designs, and prototypes with internal and external partners.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to envision future states through north star experiences and apply systems thinking to simplify complex problems.
* Proven track record of shipping products in fast-moving environments with senior stakeholders.
* Experience facilitating design sprints, workshops, and research across cross-functional teams.
* Comfort with ambiguity, especially in AI, automation, and agentic experiences.
* Human-first leadership approach that builds trust, fosters alignment, and brings empathy to every interaction.
* A passion for solving ambiguous problems with clarity, speed, and optimism.
* Master's degree is a plus.
