Job Description

Primary Duties:

Engineer new product designs including application of GD&T

Create manufacturing process including equipment, tools, and fixtures

Lead product innovation projects from concept through specified Gate Reviews

Complete product feasibility reviews

Process Engineering Change Requests and supporting documentation

Direct CAD resources for product and tooling design work

Create and document engineering guidelines and lessons learned

Create APQP documentation including Process Flows, FMEAs, etc.

Oversee build events prior to PPAP to validate product design, manufacturing process, fixtures, tools, and equipment

Review customer technical specifications to ensure compliance

Interpret and utilize statistical methods to improve products and processes


Qualifications

Knowledge of APQP and related documentation

Knowledge of product design and ability to interpret and apply GD&T

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly fixtures, and equipment

Knowledge of standard shop processes

Knowledge of ISO/TS
