Job description

Reporting to the CIO, the IT Director of Software Engineering & Integration will lead the company's application development, customer integration, business intelligence, and software delivery functions.
This role is responsible for transforming a legacy development organization into a modern, high-performing engineering team capable of rapidly delivering customer integrations, internal applications, customer-facing portals, and analytics solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Engineering Leadership
  Lead all software development, integration, BI, QA, and release management activities.
  Build a high-accountability engineering culture.
  Coach managers and senior engineers.
Delivery Management
Establish Agile/Scrum practices.
Oversee sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
Ensure work is properly prioritized and tracked in Jira.
Technology Modernization
Lead adoption of tools and engineering best practices.
Oversee Connect modernization strategy.
 
Stakeholder Management

Partner with business leaders and project stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with software vendors and implementation partners.
Governance and Quality
Implement code review, testing, and release standards.
Establish engineering KPIs.
Improve documentation using Confluence.
