About e2i:
Education 2 Impact (e2i) offers students the opportunity to work within interdisciplinary teams while gaining paid, hands-on experience. Projects are provided by companies or entrepreneurial UVU students, and teams are assembled to work under the guidance of a student project manager to complete these projects-mirroring real-world industry practices. Each project typically lasts between 8 and 12 weeks, giving team members a condensed, high-impact professional experience.
The e2i program is seeking motivated Software Development Team Members to support real-world client projects. Team members contribute across the software development lifecycle, including front-end, back-end, full-stack, and quality assurance (QA) work. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional, interdisciplinary team under the guidance of a student project manager to design, build, test, and deliver working software to industry standards. Team members will be paid $15 per hour.
Specific assignments will be matched to your strengths and interests. The Supplemental Questions below help us identify where you're the best fit.

  • QA: Writing test plans, performing usability and validation testing, and delivering clear feedback reports.
  • All roles: Collaborating across specializations to keep work in sync, applying version control and documentation best practices, and communicating progress and blockers clearly to the team
